Client Sphere 3D
So how do you sell a product that is more of a service, where the benefits of the product are more about what it isn't than what it is?
That was Sphere 3D's issue. The usual cloudy skies and graphic icons didn't have the right message, yes they were cloud-ish, but their products offered so much more.
Make your design different, for a start.
Taking a risk and being different is always a concern, but graphic design that stands out IS being different in a competitive market space, and the medical space is pretty packed.
Having designed a product that allows any software to run on any hardware (think full Photoshop on your android tablet) Sphere 3D needed a way to demonstrate the flexibility of their new software and hardware.
Building blocks were the answer, being able to put them together in ways that suited the user was a fairly good analogy for the flexibility of the Glassware development. So we got to work creating a series of building block characters both for use with core messaging, as well as patterns.
One of the fun aspects of this project was the client choosing to give away free building block bags during the event... Who doesn't like freebies!
